With more than two decades of public service in NYS government, Michael A.L. Balboni combines his years of experience in government, emergency management, crisis communication and business development to form RedLand Strategies. RedLand Strategies, based in New York City, serves a diverse groups of clients in the financial, security, transportation, and healthcare industries.

New York, NY - RedLand Strategies welcomes former Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Bill Flynn.
Bill Flynn joins RedLand Strategies as Strategic Security Advisor and brings with him decades of experience in law enforcement and public service. During his tenure at DHS, Mr. Flynn played an instrumental role in the creation of various security programs to support law enforcement and the private sector including the Protective Security Advisor Program, the Regional Resiliency Assessment Program and the Office for Bombing Prevention’s online Technical Resource for Incident Prevention (TRIPwire).

Albany, NY - Michael A. L. Balboni appointed Trustee to New York Power Authority
Governor Andrew Cuomo’s nomination of Michael A. L. Balboni to the NYPA Board of Trustees is confirmed by the New York State Senate on June 21, 2017. Balboni will fill an empty seat on the Power Authority’s board. According to the Governor’s office “Balboni’s expertise in cyber security will be a great benefit for NYPA given the increased digitization of the current electric system and NYPA’s focus on being the nation’s leader in the digital transformation of public power.”
